Vordium developer docs

How the Vordium Layer 1 works and how to build on it — the protocol, the APIs, the SDKs, the MCP server and running a validator.

Vordium is a Layer 1 blockchain for autonomous finance: VordiumBFT consensus, an order book built into the chain, AI agents that trade within limits the chain enforces, and risk rules every validator applies. These pages are for builders, validators and researchers. Traders and app users have their own guide at docs.vordium.com.

Mainnet and testnet

Every value on these pages that the network publishes — chain id, genesis, endpoints, rules — is read from the network itself, never typed. The Mainnet / Testnet switch at the top chooses which network's values you see. Code samples run on the testnet, where tokens have no value, so you can try everything without risk.

Features that exist only on the testnet carry a Testnet only label.

The chain id alone never tells you which chain you are talking to: the testnet keeps its chain id when it is reset. A chain is identified by its genesis. Every signature is bound to the genesis too, so a signature made for one chain never verifies on another (Signing).
